Privacy

The app collects nothing. Here's the honest detail.

Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to the Think Puzzle iOS app and this website.

We'll keep this plain, because the truth is simple: the Think Puzzle app does not collect data about you. This page explains what that means, and is careful to separate the app from this website.

The Think Puzzle app

The app is fully on-device. Specifically:

  • No data collection. Your streaks, scores, ranks, and settings are stored only on your device (in the app's local storage). They are never sent to us.
  • No account or sign-in. There's nothing to register. We don't know who you are, and we don't want to.
  • No analytics or tracking SDKs. There is no Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude, PostHog, Mixpanel, Sentry, Facebook SDK, or advertising identifier (IDFA) in the app. We do not use App Tracking Transparency because we have nothing to track.
  • No ads. No ad networks, so no ad-related data sharing.
  • No network calls that carry your data. The app works fully offline. The only outbound links are the standard App Store link (for updates) and Apple's licensing pages — plain links you tap, not background tracking.
  • Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us anonymized, aggregate sales totals — never tied to you.
  • Notifications (an optional daily reminder) are scheduled locally on your device only if you turn them on. Nothing is sent to a server.

In App Store terms, our answer to Apple's privacy questionnaire is: "Data Not Collected." That's not a technicality — it's the whole design.

This website (thinkpuzzlegames.com)

The website is separate from the app, and we want to be upfront about it. To run a normal, functioning site, we use a small amount of privacy-friendly, aggregate information — never linked to the app, and never combined with anything on your phone:

  • Privacy-first web analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals. It gives us aggregate counts like "how many people visited this week," not profiles of people.
  • App Store button clicks. When you tap a "Download" button, we count the click (a simple tally) before sending you to the App Store. It's an anonymous number, not a record of you.
  • Contact form. If you email us through the support form, we store what you send — your name, email, and message — so we can reply. That's it. We don't add you to a marketing list.
  • Standard server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) keeps ordinary, short-lived request logs for security and reliability, as any website does.

We don't run third-party ad trackers, social pixels, or session-recording tools on this site.

Children

Think Puzzle is rated 4+ and is friendly for all ages. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Your choices

Since the app stores everything locally, you're always in control: deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. For anything you sent us through the contact form, you can ask us to delete it at any time — just get in touch.

Changes

If we ever change how the app works — for example, if we one day add an optional online feature — we'll update this page first and clearly explain what changed. We will not quietly start collecting data.
